Is it hard to bring your
       horse in from pasture...
      Can't catch him etc.

How many times I've heard this from so many people
I've lost count.
It's really not all that complicated but may
take some time to get it perfected as your really breaking a bad habit too.

You have to give a reason for your horse to come to you other then to work
or doing something that perhaps he really would rather avoid.
Just like a man ( just kidding) the way to a horses heart
is through his stomach!
When you go to get your horse the first few time may still be tuff, but
eventually it will work so,  be patient!
Once you've gotten your horse, put him in his stall or
some area where he can be left alone for a least 10 minutes to have a snack,
maybe a little grain treat and some hay.
Once you have allowed the horse to have this time with something he likes
then go ahead and groom your horse as if your going to ride or work, but when done,
put him back to pasture.  Be sure to save a little bit of those carrots
or treats for when your done and ready to put him out.
Due this several times. Once you have it so you can get
your horse each and every time, then you can start riding after his 10
minutes to himself and your grooming.
Again, save a little treat for when your all done and ready to put him back out.
He will remember the beginning 10 minutes and the last ten minutes more
then anything thing else.
Now your've given him something to look forward to when you come....
FOOD and of course YOUbecause your the one thats suppling it!
I hope this helps and let us know if it did!
